Warfighter 1

Warfighter 1 is a 2-day course designed from the ground up by former Green Beret, Matt Tardio, to teach you the fundamentals of effectively running a carbine and pistol.

Starting on day one, students will learn how to properly set up their carbine, including:

  • Sling setups
  • Attachment options and positions
  • Basic operational fundamentals

Moving to the range, students will learn how to properly zero their carbines. Once zero is established, the course will cover:

  • Trigger control
  • Stance
  • Firing positions
  • Multiple targets
  • Transitions between targets
  • Alternate firing positions (prone, kneeling, standing)
  • <Rifle-to-pistol transitions
  • Magazine changes,
  • Malfunctions clearing

Gear Required:

  • Carbine with sling (two point preferred), 500 rounds of ammunition
  • Pistol with holster (inside or outside the waste band), 200 rounds of ammunition
  • pistol and rifle magazine pouches for 1-2 extra magazines per
